Fees & Rebates

We are committed to transparent fee communication. Indicative fees are set out below. A confirmed fee quote is provided before any assessment begins.

Please note: All fees listed are indicative package prices. The exact fee for your assessment will depend on the complexity of the referral question and the number of sessions required. A confirmed fee quote will be provided during the intake process before any commitment is required. Fee quotes are provided at no charge.

Private & Self-Funded Assessments

For clients funding their assessment privately. All fees are indicative; a confirmed quote will be provided before any commitment is required.

Medicare rebates may be available for selected services where an appropriate GP referral is in place. Current rebate information is available via MBS Online.

Funded Assessments

Assessments funded through NDIS, WorkCover Queensland, or the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Out-of-pocket costs are typically nil for approved funded assessments.

NDIS

Functional Capacity Assessment

Approximate Fee:$1,650

Charged at the NDIS price limit of $232.99/hr under support item 15_054_0128_1_3 (Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training: Psychologist), funded from Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living. Available to participants whose NDIS plan includes sufficient Improved Daily Living funding. A signed service agreement is required before commencement; plan-managed participants will also need their plan manager to confirm available funds.

NDIS

Evidence of Psychosocial Disability

Approximate Fee:$3,200

For people applying to access the NDIS on the basis of psychosocial disability. The report documents diagnosis, treatment history, permanent impairment and functional impact, aligned to the NDIA's Evidence of Psychosocial Disability form. Typically includes clinical interview, history review, standardised functional measures, and a detailed written report. Funding: Privately funded. The NDIS does not pay for access/eligibility reports, including retrospectively after a plan is approved. Clients with a GP Mental Health Care Plan may be able to claim Medicare rebates on the consultation sessions (the report write-up itself is not Medicare-rebatable). A confirmed fee quote is provided before commencement.

WorkCover QLD

Initial Assessment

Approximate Fee:WorkCover Queensland schedule

Available to workers with an accepted WorkCover Queensland claim and a current Work Capacity Certificate or referral from a registered medical practitioner. Insurer pre-approval is not required.

WorkCover QLD

Comprehensive Report

Approximate Fee:WorkCover Queensland schedule

Detailed written report addressing the insurer's referral questions. Prepared only at the insurer's request, with hours pre-negotiated and delivery within 10 business days.

DVA

Diagnostic & Functional Assessment

Approximate Fee:DVA fee schedule

Available to eligible DVA White or Gold Card holders. Requires a referral from the veteran's usual GP under the DVA Allied Health Treatment Cycle (12 sessions or 1 year, whichever ends first). White Card holders can also access mental health care for any condition under DVA's Non-Liability Health Care arrangements.

Fees shown are indicative package prices based on typical assessment complexity. Actual fees may vary for more complex presentations requiring additional sessions or extended report preparation. A confirmed quote is provided before commencement.

Medico-Legal & Specialised Reports

Quoted individually based on the complexity of the matter and extent of file review required.

Fees provided as a written quote before commencement; no commitment is required to receive a quote.
Hourly basis reflecting scope of referral questions, file review, evaluation time, and report preparation.
Invoices issued to the instructing party (solicitor, insurer, employer or other referrer), not the evaluee. Payment terms confirmed at the time of quote.
Typical turnaround: 10–15 business days from the later of evaluation completion or receipt of all instructing materials, subject to capacity.
Court attendance, conferences, and addenda billed separately at the applicable hourly or daily rate.
Late cancellation / non-attendance at a scheduled evaluation may incur a fee (detailed in the engagement terms).
GST applies. Medico-legal and forensic reporting is not GST-free under Australian tax law.

Payment Methods

The following payment methods are accepted:

NDIS plan management invoicing
WorkCover / DVA direct billing (where approved)

A deposit may be required to secure an assessment booking. Payment details will be confirmed during intake.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice: no charge.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment: a cancellation fee may apply.
Non-attendance (DNA): a fee equivalent to the session fee may be charged.
We understand that circumstances change. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
