Medico-Legal & Specialised Reports
We provide independent and specialised psychological reporting services. These assessments involve comprehensive file reviews and clinical evaluations designed to address specific legal, vocational, or funding criteria.
Medico-Legal Reports
WorkCover · Personal Injury · CourtDetailed psychological assessments following a traumatic event, accident, or workplace incident. These reports are prepared objectively for a legal audience, including lawyers, courts, and insurance providers such as WorkCover, to document psychological impact and current functioning.
A medico-legal psychological report involves a comprehensive clinical interview, review of all relevant background documentation, and standardised psychometric testing where appropriate. Findings are presented in a structured format consistent with medico-legal reporting standards, addressing the referral questions posed by the instructing party. Reports are prepared to be factual, independent, and evidence-based.
These reports document psychological presentation and functional impact at the time of assessment. They do not guarantee any particular outcome in legal or insurance proceedings. Court attendance, conferences with counsel, and supplementary opinions are available and billed separately.
Psychological Input to Vocational Rehabilitation
Return-to-Work · Rehabilitation PlanningPsychological assessment and reporting to support vocational rehabilitation following injury, illness, or disability. These reports provide the psychological component of a broader rehabilitation plan, addressing psychological barriers to return to work, cognitive capacity in the context of occupational demands, and evidence-based recommendations for rehabilitation providers.
This service provides psychological assessment findings as input to a vocational rehabilitation process managed by a rehabilitation provider, case manager, or treating team. The assessment evaluates psychological status, cognitive functioning relevant to work demands, and the impact of any identified conditions on occupational activity. Findings and recommendations are documented in a written report prepared for the instructing party.
This service provides psychological assessment as input to a vocational rehabilitation process. It does not constitute a standalone vocational assessment and does not determine employment or retraining outcomes, which fall within the scope of rehabilitation counsellors and vocational specialists.
Funding & Support Agency Reports
NDIS · Centrelink · QTAC EASComprehensive clinical documentation to support applications for government or community assistance, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Centrelink (Disability Support Pension and related), and tertiary admissions schemes (QTAC EAS in Queensland; equivalent VTAC SEAS / UAC EAS for interstate students).
Funding and support agency reports document the nature and functional impact of a psychological condition in language and format suited to the requirements of the relevant agency. For NDIS purposes, reports address access criteria and functional capacity across relevant support domains. For Centrelink purposes, reports document the impact of psychological conditions on capacity for work and daily function. For tertiary admissions, EAS reports document how a student's disability or condition has impacted their senior schooling and educational performance to support an adjustment-factor application.
These reports provide clinical evidence to support an application. They are designed to comprehensively address the relevant criteria and do not guarantee approval of funding or access.
