How the Process Works

Our structured assessment process is designed to be thorough, transparent, and straightforward for clients and their families.

1

Initial Intake

Complete a structured intake form providing background history and referral information. A brief phone consultation may be arranged to confirm assessment suitability.

2

Assessment Session(s)

Attend one or more sessions involving standardised psychometric testing, clinical interviews, and behavioural observation. Sessions may be conducted in-person or via secure telehealth.

3

Report Preparation

Assessment results are scored and interpreted. A comprehensive written report documenting findings, diagnostic impressions, and evidence-based recommendations is prepared.

4

Feedback Session

A feedback appointment is offered to discuss the assessment report and answer questions about findings and recommendations.

Accepted Funding & Referral Pathways

We accept referrals and assessments under a range of funding arrangements. Reports are prepared to meet the specific documentation requirements of each funding body.

NDIS

Functional capacity assessments and Evidence of Psychosocial Disability reports for NDIS access requests and plan reviews.

WorkCover QLD

Psychological assessments for workplace injury claims and return-to-work planning.

DVA

Mental health care for current and former serving members under DVA's Allied Health Treatment Cycle.

Medicare

Selected assessment services with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan referral.

Private / Self-Funded

Assessments are available on a private basis without a funding body referral. No referral required.
